Programming

Because it was our first year of competition, our programming team had to learn the ropes of WPILib and all of its features. But they quickly got the hang of it and programmed two successful autonomous routines that the Yellow Haze utilized at our competitions.

In Competition

The Yellow Haze participated in our FIRST ever competition at the 2024 Orlando regional! Our robot successfully accomplished the following:

  • Scoring in the Amp and Speaker

  • Running a two-note auto cycle

  • Intaking notes from the human player and ground

Check out or robot in action!

Rookie All-Stars

At the Orlando Regional, The Yellow Haze received the prestigious "Rookie All-Star' award which is a testament to the dedication of The Yellow Haze and what is in store for us in future seasons! This was our FIRST ever award, but we're hopeful it won't be our last!
